40-Minute Surveillance Video Released From Karmelo Anthony Stabbing That Left Austin Metcalf Dead

40-Minute Surveillance Video Released From Karmelo Anthony Stabbing That Left Austin Metcalf Dead, And It Paints A Grim Picture Of The Fatal Altercation. As we all know, Karmelo Anthony has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal track meet stabbing.

The 18-year-old, who was released from custody earlier this year after posting a $250,000 bond, is charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf. Karmelo of Centennial High School was released from jail on bond after lawyers reduced his bail from $1 million, but his freedom might be temporary. In the midst of this fight for his life was a “Help Karmelo Official Fund” being set up and garnering more than $530,000 in donations from across the country.

There has been little news about the case in recent weeks, but that certainly changed this month with the release of the footage showing the apparent altercation between the two teenagers.Unfortunately, the footage has not been released to the public, but it was shown to select media members, and we got some inside details about it from the Daily Mail.

Nobody had a clue that a high school track meet at David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, would turn so tragic. MARYANN MARTINEZ of Daily Mail was granted access to surveillance footage of the deadly incident between then-17-year-old Karmelo Anthony and 17-year-old Austin Metcalf.

The original reports state that Metcalf, a student at Memorial High School, was stabbed after confronting Anthony, who attended Centennial High School, about sitting under the tent of a team he was not affiliated with.

The publication stated that Karmelo Anthony’s stabbing of Metcalf was not visible on camera, but students were spotted fleeing the area after the attack. Daily Mail stated that the surveillance reviewed appears to challenge the self-defense claim, offering little visible evidence that Anthony was in immediate danger before the attack.

Karmelo Anthony, the teen accused of fatally stabbing Frisco Memorial High School athlete Austin Metcalf during a track meet in early April, clearly put in the work while at school.

Social justice organization Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) said Anthony met all the academic requirements to graduate.

The organization said his 3.7 GPA and completion of all graduation requirements mean he could graduate without attending the final month and a half of the academic year.

What happens with the remainder of his life will be up to a Texas court.
